Legitimate Remote Part-time Online Jobs
Here are 19 of the best part-time remote jobs online with a flexible schedule.
Blogging is #1 on this list because it is one of the most flexible jobs you can have and the earning potential is limitless!
Blogging is my favorite form of passive income. I make money just for people reading my articles from ads, so if you’re reading this article, thank you!
When you get a nice amount of people reading your articles, it brings in a nice income.
Here’s a screenshot of my earnings in March from ads:
I made $400 in one day. I also make a lot more by partnering with companies and becoming an “Affiliate”. You can see how I make money blogging here.
Blogging takes ‘A LOT’ of work (in the beginning anyway) and a while before you start making money, but it’s so rewarding if you hang in there. I earn much more than when I was at my corporate job (I’ve been blogging for 18 months) and work about 10 hours a week now.
This is why this is the BEST ONLINE PART-TIME JOB FROM HOME.
How much can you earn? I know bloggers earning between $2,000-$100,000+ a MONTH (and I’m one of them)
How to get started: I wrote a very detailed step-by-step guide on how to start a blog from scratch. Definitely check out how I make money blogging so you can fully understand how it all works.

15. Online Freelance Jobs
Freelance jobs are a great way to make money online part-time. You deliver a service for a fee with the ability to work where and when you want with unlimited earning potential!
I have found many freelance jobs on Upwork. I sift through the available work options to see which project suits me the best.
I only apply to the jobs I KNOW I can do well because after the project is over its important that I get a good review so I can continue to get more jobs.
I suggest the following when applying to jobs on Upwork:
- Focus on the projects with only 5-10 proposals or less submitted (less competition)
- Check that the client has the “blue verified payment check” before applying
- When you see a job that fits you, apply for it immediately!
- If you live in the U.S., make sure to check “U.S. Only.”
- If you are pitching your first job, try to offer your services for free for one week to ease the client’s mind since you have no references or reviews. If the client likes you move on with the “paid service” the following week. That’s how I won my first job, and the client still paid me for my first week.
For a full list of freelance services you can provide on Upwork, click here.

Did you find anything that interests you? If not, check out FlexJobs. With FlexJobs, you can access hand-screened remote, part-time, freelance, and flexible jobs—quick and easy! Use my code FLEXLIFE for 30% off.
The normal fee each month would be $14.95, but it’s less using my code. I’m not a fan of paying to find work, but I get it has to get compensated somehow for hand-screening each job it posts.

Thanks for posting on Pinterest. I am retiring at the end of the year and want to find low stress anti-corporate type work. I am very interested in several listings.
Awesome, let me know what you end up landing on.
I am retired and home bound. For me, working from home, means just that. Any jobs here that will not require me going out of my home?
Yes, many like proofreading, writing, blogging, virtual assistant, etc they are all listed above
Proofreadanywhere course is not free!
The introductory course is, the free course helps you understand if proofreading is right for you. If you decide that it is, you can take the paid option to learn from Caitlin how to become one.
I am very interested in doing proofreading/freelance writing work but I don’t seem to ever be able to find anybody that needs my services. I don’t need training on how to do the job, so I hate to pay a large fee for a course that I don’t really need. Are there any tips you have for where to look to find clients?
Sure, at the end of this article I have some ways to get jobs https://triedandtruemomjobs.com/getting-started-freelance-writing/
Very interesting article. I work in the corporate field but I’m looking part-time work to assist with my daughter’s tuition fees. I noticed that some jobs are limited to the US and Canada, what recommendations do you have for persons living in the Caribbean?
Yes, most of the jobs are from the U.S. I am from here so its easier to tell what’s legitimate or not. Unfortunately, I can’t speak for other areas but I will say freelance opportunities can be done from anywhere Blogging, proofreading, bookkeeping, etc.
Great article thank you! Do you think any of these are feasible with a newborn? I’ve just finished up my bachelors in elementary education and now I’m unsure what I could actually do without having to put my baby in daycare. Hoping there is something for me here! I have the dedication just need to work in the confidence!
OMG yes, the majority of these are. Most of these success stories are all moms that have kids at home, I did that on purpose to prove that it can be done.
